Breakout #4 CEM Bermuda 🏆 Results

Top Picks from the inaugural Bermuda Capital Event 2024 and insights into promising investment opportunities

A symphony of financial acumen swept through sun-drenched Bermuda last weekend as North America's top investment advisors, small-cap fund managers and issuers came together for the inaugural CEM Capital Event on the mid-Atlantic isle.

Amidst the backdrop of Bermuda's azure waters and pink sand beaches, executives from over 50 companies representing 10 stock sectors and 17 different industries showcased their insights and opportunities to a diverse group of investment-focussed money managers, during a day-long series of one-on-one meetings.

These personal interactions built towards a crescendo of excitement that culminated in the selection of the Investor Breakout Exchange’s Top 5 Picks – an accolade which serves as a powerful catalyst for opening doors to new opportunities and enhancing a company’s market position.

As promised, here is your early and exclusive look at the companies that earned the top honors in Bermuda and the strategic reasons behind their selection:

Top Picks:

TSXV: MAPS | OTCQB: MAPPF

Its growing list of clients includes Fortune 500 construction companies, engineering and surveying firms, municipalities, utility location operators, and government agencies.

Why it was picked:

  • Continues to make traction with new customers, who are the world’s leading geospatial technology providers, data collection equipment manufacturers, and their dealer networks. In April it announced that Stake Center Locating, one of America’s largest utility locating firms, has signed a deal to trial ProStar’s flagship product, PointMan Precision Mapping Solution. Stake Center Locating specializes in providing utility location services to help manage and mitigate risks associated with excavation.
  • Recent performance was also a head turner at the Investor Breakout Exchange. Its Q1 2024 saw YY growth of 43% and sequential growth of 229%. The projections for Q2 2024 are equally promising, with an estimated 102% sequential uplift and a 48% year-over-year expansion. Furthermore, Prostar's pipeline is anticipated to soar to over $8 million by the end of 2024.
  • Has a vast intellectual property portfolio that includes 18 issued patents in the United States and Canada. The patents protect the methods and systems required to digitally capture, record, organize, manage, distribute, and display the precise location of critical infrastructure, including buried utilities and pipelines.

Skeena Resources Ltd.

Skeena Resources Limited is a Canadian mining exploration and development company focused on revitalizing the Eskay Creek and Snip Projects, two past-producing mines located in Tahltan Territory in the Golden Triangle of Northwest British Columbia, Canada.

Why it was picked:

  • Eskay Creek, which previously operated as an underground mine from 1994 to 2008 produced 3.3 million ounces of gold and 160 million ounces of silver at average grades of 45 g/t gold and 2,224 g/t silver. Under Skeena’s revitalisation project, Eskay Creek is projected to be one of Canada’s largest open-pit gold mines, ranking third in Canada in the first 5 years of operation. Grades are almost triple the average of open-pit mines worldwide.
  • Skeena’s updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Snip Gold Project has an Indicated Resource which includes 823,000 ounces hosted within 2.74 million tonnes at an average grade of 9.35 g/t Au. This represents an increase of 579,000 ounces, or 237%, from the original 2020 Mineral Resource Estimate.
  • Excellent infrastructure in the project areas, a strong management team, a robust cash position with working capital to support its planned activities and a deep relationship with the Tahltan First Nation, propelled Skeena to Top Pick status.

Comstock Inc.

Comstock Inc. commercializes innovations that contribute to global decarbonization through three primary operating units: Comstock Fuels converts biomass into net zero renewable fuels, Comstock Metals recycles e-waste and critical metals, and Comstock Mining holds a significant gold and silver resource in a target-rich district in Nevada and plans to dramatically expand reserves through generative AI-enabled mineral discovery.

Why it was picked:

  • Commissioned a unique facility in Silver Springs, Nevada that specializes in recycling and processing solar panels that have reached the end of their useful life. The operation is committed to a zero-landfill solution, by reusing all of the recycled materials. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that by 2030, there will be one million tons per year of solar panel waste that will need to be recycled or sent to a landfill – so this facility meets a timely need.
  • Announced this month advances on amended agreements with RenFuel K2B AB involving the development of RenFuel’s pre-existing, planned biorefinery project at a pulp and paper mill in Sweden. Comstock also holds the exclusive license to RenFuel’s refining technologies in North America, Central America, and South America.
  • Recently published a third-party S-K 1300 technical report, which estimates that its Dayton Development Area in Nevada contains measured and indicated mineral resources containing 293,000 ounces of gold and 2,120,000 ounces of silver. The Dayton area also contains additional inferred mineral resources containing 90,000 ounces of gold and 480,000 ounces of silver.
